He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford M. Harris and Ruth Y. Shafer; his aunt Ruth Harris Joyce; his former wife Lois Myers Harris; and his stepgrandchildren, James C. Trombley and Heather A. Jones.
He is survived by: his brother Larry Harris; and his stepchildren, Cathy Morecock, James Jones, Curtis Jones, Lorraine Valiquette, Christine Blackburn, Suzanna Blackburn and Danielle Stickle. He is also survived by 15 step grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren.
