She was predeceased by: her husband James Donald Byrd. She is survived by: her parents, Robert Glenn Gardner and Mary Ruth Golding Gardner; her aunt Ida Shelton; and her cousins, Freta Deatherage, Carolyn Underwood, Sylvia Jacobs and Terry Shelton. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
