She is survived by: her husband James M. "Mike" Mecum; her children, Susan Draughn Eads and Kenneth Edward Draughn; her grandchildren, Madison Kelsey Draughn, Austin and Lexi Hicks; her sister Bertha Holyfield Reece; her nieces and nephews, James Evan Reece, Lynn Malo Reece (Linda), Ann Reece Patton (Paul), Sandra Wilmoth Kesee (Gregory) and Rebecca Holyfield Bunke (Paul); her grandmother Linda; and also, Wendy (Bob) and Michael Mecum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pruitthealth Hospice.
