He is survived by: his mother Vera Edmonds Mears; his children, Ashley Bryant (Jacob), Pamela "Nikki" Mears (Justin Mabe) and Joshua Mears (Allison); his grandchildren, Syler, Kyson, Merritt, Madelynn, Ellie and Emerson; and his siblings, JoAnn Greene (Tom) and Jerry Mears (Jo Ann).
