He was predeceased by: his father Robert A. Hughes; his birth mother Margaret Hughes (Peggy); and his siblings, Terry K. Hughes and Roy Clyde Hughes II. He is survived by: his mother Karen L. Hughes; his partner Lael Davis White; his sisters, Laurie Gardner and Tracy Patteson-Stewart (Jamie); his niece Ashley Ritchie; and his nephew John L. Patteson II.
