She was predeceased by: her parents, Girley Bailey and Amy Collier Bailey; her husband John Sherwin Richardson; her siblings, Winston Bailey and Annie Mae Bailey; and her son-in-law William Sutherland.
She is survived by: her children, John S. Richardson, Jr. (Charlene) of New Holland, PA. and Ann Dale Sutherland of Surry, VA.; her grandchildren, J. Stephen (Kerrie), Jason (Lina), David Richardson (Stacy), Amy Mercurio and Reid Sutherland (Moira); her great grandchildren, Aidan, Keira, Mia, Carter, Lucas, Joselyn, Isabelle, Mathew and Casandra; her great great grandchild Jonah; and her sister Mary Ann Epps (Russell Hedgepeth).
