He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleve Key and Minnie Lawson Key; his wife Mary Lee Mays Key; and his son Harold Key. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca (Garland Creel), Janet Worrell, Norma (Tony Doby), Everette Lee Key and William Key. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
