She was predeceased by: her parents, Seaborn Battle and Pearlene Battle; her husband James; and her brother Donald Battle. She is survived by: her children, Satara Chambers, Charetta Howell and Jason Howell (Jeneisse Howell); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Chambers, Kendall Howell and Keaton Howell; and her siblings, David Battle, Ralph Battle (Bernice), Leonard Battle (Sherrye), Earl Battle and Linda Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
