We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2020, at the age of 92, Della Holland Edwards of Surry, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Atwood Holland and Ella Butler Holland; her husband David S. Edwards; her son David Wayne Edwards; and her siblings, Vernon Atwood Holland, Jr., Hilda Holland O'Berry, Joseph Holland, Grace Holland Brown, Charlie Holland, Anne Holland Rountree, Ray Holland and Willard Holland.
She is survived by: her children, Judith "Judy", Donald Seward Edwards (Meredith) and Earl Holland Edwards, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Jeanie Edwards; her grandchildren, Karen Rochelle Lee, Earl Holland Edwards, Jr., David Andrew Edwards, Donald Rea Edwards, Meredith Edwards McNamee, George Hugh Padgett, III, Patrick Edwards, Timothy Aaron Edwards and Alexine McKenneley Edwards; and her siblings, Dorothy Holland Byrum, Russell Holland, Jean Holland Pavlina, Janie Holland Mountcastle and Betty Holland O'Berry.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Moore's Swamp Cemetery Fund c/o Janet Seward 5898 Beechland Rd., Elberon, VA 23846.
