We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2022, at the age of 70, Deacon William Randolph Hughes of Surry, Virginia, born in Newport News, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Pollether Hughes Hampton; and his siblings, William T. Banks, Joyce Banks Eaton, Ruth Hampton Womack and Cheryl Hampton.

He is survived by: his wife Bettie P. Hughes; his children, Dorian Reedy and Yolanda Price; his brother Alvin L. Hampton (Avis); his siblings-in-law, Florence P. Holloway, Ruth P. Bailey and Leon S. Pettaway (Sheila); and his close friends, Jerry Nicholson, Isaac Jones and Christopher Flowers, Sr.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
