He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nelda Jean Atkins Stanley; his daughter Teresa Slate; his son-in-law Mike Slate; his son Mark Lyle; his daughter-in-law Donna Johnson Stanley; his grandchildren, Chase Sterlin Harrison, Ryan Alexander Stanley, Raven Alexandria Stanley and Reid Allen Stanley; his brother Jerry Lee; his sister-in-law Freddie Stanley; his sister Peggy Jewel; his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Clayton Combs and Ann Atkins; his nephew Jerry Todd Stanley; his niece Jamie Annette Blake; and his close friends, Kristi Shore and Judy Cook.
