She was predeceased by: her parents, Gurney Kirkman and Dessie Pell Kirkman; and her siblings, Mary Jane Kirkman Tilley, Eugene Kirkman (Wanda), Roger Kirkman and Ricky Kirkman (Tammy).

She is survived by: her husband Donnie James York; her children, Melissa York Tackett and David York (Jody); and her grandchildren, Dustin York, Katelyn York and Macy Tackett.
