She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackson Furr and Katherine Furr; her significant other Vernie E. Dawson; her son Stanley Ross Dawson; her grandson Larry Dawson, Jr.; her great grandchild Ja'Marion Dawson; and her siblings, Elizabeth Wines (Sis), Alice Trenum, Mabel Canard, Ruth Slayton, Jack, Harvey, Howard, Wes, Charlie, Joe and Daniel Furr.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Dawson (Fran) of Front Royal, VA, David Dawson (Darlene) of Orange, VA and Janet Caplinger (Bobby) of Sumerduck, VA; and her sister Virginia'Jenny'Furr of Remington, VA. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
