She was predeceased by: her father John Oliver Hemperley; and her sister Amy Hemperley-Pittman. She is survived by: her mother Bess Hemperley Sullivan; her husband Kurt Lee Mayhugh; her son Nicholas Mayhugh; her daughter-in-law Jennifer; her grandsons, Wyatt Mayhugh, Dalton Mayhugh and Cole Mayhugh; her brothers, John Ashley Hemperley and Will Robert Hemperley; her nephew John Ashley Hemperley, Jr.; and her friends, Rochelle Ferguson, Kelly Noe, Michelle Wolfe, Dana Rucket and Maggie Sekyer.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapels & Cremation Service (850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Bright View Cemetery (8265 Lunsford Rd, Warrenton, VA 20187).
