He is survived by: his wife Alison Jenkins Hare; his son Jonathan Hare; his siblings, Brenda Ball (Allen), Colleen Boyd (Brad), Rebecca Hare (David Ankrom), Debbie Beach, Patricia Crossman (Jeff), Ruthie Connell (Larry), Bill Hare (Leslie), Danny Hare (Dee), Wayne Evans, Carl Hare Jr. and David Hare (Nuria); his parents-in-law, John and Chris Jenkins; and his sister-in-law Victoria Malamphy (Jacob). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
