She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Shumate and Laura Eskridge Shumate; and her son Kevin Johnson. She is survived by: her daughter Margie Lee Baker; her grandchildren, Diana Puckett (Travis) and Jonathan Baker; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Puckett, Legend Baker and Levi Baker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
