He is survived by: his wife Pat Medley; his children, Christy Hancock (Bobby) of Chilhowie and Steve Medley (Rachel) of Sugar Grove; his grandchildren, Easton Medley, Cameron Medley of Sugar Grove, Eli Hancock, Eden Hancock of Chilhowie, Colin Shoup, Emma Shoup of Sugar Grove and Lauren Cannoy (Thomas) of Max Meadows; his great grandchildren, Jordan and Palyn Cannoy of Max Meadows; his siblings, Robert Medley (Kim) of Sugar Grove, Barbara Burchett (Johnny) of Sugar Grove and Brenda Shuler (Sheriff Chip) of Sugar Grove; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Medley (Letcher Wagner) of Sugar Grove. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
