She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Haywood and Charlotte MacWaters Haywood; her husband Albert Brooks; her brothers, Don Haywood, Bill Haywood and Wayne Haywood; and her grandson Clifton Patton.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Patton (James), Stephen Brooks and Robert Brooks (Melissa); her sister Wilma Cressell; her grandchildren, Tonya Patton, Shane Brooks, Tomeka Brooks, Robert Brooks and McKenzie Brooks; her great grandchildren, Brittany Kidd, Daniel Patton, Jace Brooks, Lily Boehm, Levi Brooks, Madelyn Brooks, Nicholas Weyant and Garrett Brooks; her great great grandchild Grace Keys; and her close friend Lucy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, her church family, and her special pet.
