She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Parsons and Juanita Dye Doss; her son Phillip Lee Shuler; and her siblings, Wayne Parsons and Linda Danner.
She is survived by: her husband D. C. Shuler; her sons, Sheriff Chip Shuler (Brenda) of Sugar Grove and Tim Shuler (Tammy) of Sugar Grove; her grandchildren, Seth Shuler (Megan) of Castlewood, Jessi Shuler of Sugar Grove and Megan Shuler of Sugar Grove; her great grandchildren, Nolan and Averie; and her siblings, Millie Burke of Marion, Gail Collins of Glade Spring and Gary Parsons of Richmond. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
