She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Parks and Nellie Parks; her brother Donald Wayne Parks; and the father of her children Terry Russell. She is survived by: her children, April Russell Varney, Michael Brandon (Kristy) and Thomas Troy; her siblings, Ray Parks (Diane), Bill Parks (Cathy), Tommy Parks and Opal Graham; her grandchildren, Brittiany Hurley, Paige Widener, Jessica Russell, Brandy Williams, Carolann Russell, Summer Russell, Sierra Varney, Sidda, Lola Shupe and Chandler Moore; and her friends, Betty Osborne, Debbie Carver and Tina Mutter. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and two on the way; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver Brown Funeral Service & Crematory (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Cemetery (1463 Teas Rd, Sugar Grove, VA 24375).
