She was predeceased by: her husband Carroll Joe Kirk, Sr.; her sons, Carroll Joe Kirk, Jr. and Milton James Ford (Mary Jane Elizabeth Ford); and her siblings, Cecil Ford, Stella Campbell, Mable Puckett, Thelma Ray, Violet French, John Ford and Willis Ford.

She is survived by: her children, Gordon James Kirk of Sugar Grove and Carolyn Hess; her grandsons, CJ Kirk (Kristen) of Abingdon and Anthony Goodwin of Abingdon; her great grandchild Kayleigh Leighann Cole; and her pet Spanky. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
