He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Don and Mary Margaret Tibbs Barton; and his siblings, Robert D. Barton and Mary Glenn Burton. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Hubble Barton of Sugar Grove; his children, Ann Rhea Hester (Michael) of Newnan and Greg Barton (Libby) of Lancaster, S. C.; his grandchildren, Nathan Hester (Haley), Katie Hester, Erika Barton, Cary Lampkins and Will Rose; his great grandchild Grayson Hester; and his sister Donna B. Hoffman of Abingdon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many, many special friends.
