It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Calhoun Hermsmeier of Sugar Grove, Virginia, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Calhoun and Katie Calhoun of Sugar Grove; her husband Paul Hermsmeier; and her children, Janet Bossage and David Hermsmeier.
She is survived by: her son John Hermsmeier (Kim); her grandchildren, Nathaniel of Charlottesville, Madeline of Charlottesville, Isabell Hermsmeier of Charlottesville and Brian Hermsmeier (Ashley); her son-in-law John Bossage of Burlington, Vt.; and her sisters, Dot Hubble of Marion and Glenna Miller (Phil) of Lansing, Mich.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
