It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Medley of Sugar Grove, Virginia, who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Medley, Sr.; her children, Brenda Tate Arrington and Billy Medley; her parents, Garnett Simons and Pearl Simons; and her siblings, Jim Testerman, Bill Testerman and Mary Schnieder.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Tate, Bob Tate (Lynn), Debbie Hash and Eddie Medley (Sherian); her sisters, Betty Bilka (Steve) and Patsy Bedwell (Grady); and her grandchildren, Kimberly Whaley, Jennifer Corbin, Richard Arrington, Mandy Binsted, Aaron Tate, Katie Chilton, Brandon Hash, Justin Hash, Sarah Smith and Jill Wolfe. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
