He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilmer Clarence and Georgia Parks Brown; his daughter Amy Brown; and his siblings, Nancy Ford, Rex Brown and Morris Brown.
He is survived by: his siblings, Clarence G. Brown (Carolyn) and Brenda Sue Pennington; and his close friend Barbara Dunford Testerman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
