He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Emerson and Elsie Emerson; his daughter Phyllis Emerson; and his grandson Christopher Carl Poole. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Emerson; his daughters, Diane Perkins (Pete) and Rhonda Prater (Keevin); his grandson Chase Clear; his stepgranddaughter Brittany Clear; his stepgreat-grandson Caleb Perkins; and his sisters, Iva Barker, Barbara Testerman, Madge Sawyers, Kay Bundy and Sandy McNeil.
Flowers will be appreciated or memorial contributions can be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
