She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lester and Zella Henderson Lawson; her former husbands, Ross David and Elmer Lewis Lundy; and her brothers, Lester Lawson and Larry Lawson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Brooks (Anna) of Bristol, VA, Melissa Deel (David) of Rural Retreat, VA and Michele Stewart; her grandchildren, Nicholas Brooks, Keith Deel, Austin Stewart and Cody Keesee; and her siblings, David Lawson, Pete Watkins (Justine), Dallas Lawson, Roger Lawson, Elizabeth Carter and Peggy Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
