He is survived by: his children, Michael Carter, Evelyn Oliver, Tammy Carter and Wayne Carter (Sheila); his grandchildren, John Faris Oliver, Jr. (Dinah), Michelle Jeanette Wolke (Joe), Megan Marie Oliver, Mark Allen Spivey, Jr. (Megan), Destiny Noel Windbush (Jeremis) and Angel Rose Davidson; his great grandchildren, Georgia Grace Oliver, Shannon Michelle Wolke and Caroline Carter Oliver; and his sister Brenda Babb. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
