He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cayton and Dura Washburn Cayton; and his nephew David. He is survived by: his wife Bridget Kelly; his daughter Emily Kelly Cayton (David Culpepper); his grandchildren, Oscar Cayton Culpepper and Dietrich Cayton Culpepper; his sisters, Jean Thompson and Lolita Ferris (Richard); and his nieces and nephews, Richard, Caroline, Erin and Lisa.
