It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Thomas Burris Sr. (Suffolk, Virginia), who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wardell Burris and Maggie Dean Burris; and his siblings, Wardell Burris, Jr., John Nelson Burris and Dorothy O'Linda Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Burris; his children, William Thomas Burris, Jr. and Marissa Danielle Burris; his stepchildren, Charles M. Green, Jr. (Tiffany), Jamison D. Green and Jerri M. Price; and his siblings, Joan Ward (Orlando), Nellie Rose Mitchell, Gloria Dean Burris and Ronald Phillip Burris (Deborah). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
