He is survived by: his wife Loretta Ann Cole Ellis; his children, Kelly Bailey (Randy), Jennifer Cochran (Chad) and Juston Ellis (Christine); his grandchildren, Jonathan Cal Bailey (Katie), Cole Bailey (Madison), Lauryn Bailey, Meghan Bailey, Cayley Cochran and Kenzy Cochran; his great grandchild Iris Bailey; his stepgrandson Michael Maki; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jordyn Honey, Kamryn Honey, Sophie Catts and Selene Catts; his sister Frances Richards; and his sisters-in-law, Faye and Barbara Ellis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wilroy Baptist Church (306 Williams Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434). An entombment was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens (4569 Shoulders Hill Rd, Suffolk, VA 23435).
