He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram "H. J." Jordan Gardner, Jr. and Audrey Christine Byrd Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Judith Edwards Gardner; his children, Brian, Janice Gardner, Rebecca, Calvin Askew, Neil and Kim Gardner; his uncle Jerry Byrd; and his brother William (Dawna Gardner). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
