He was predeceased by: his parents, Malachi Roberts and Ella Marion Roberts (Wiggins); his significant other Mable Lee Artis Roberts; and his siblings, Ruby L. Roberts, James A. Robertson, Ella S. Hill (Finis) and Roy A. Robertson.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Gladys Artis, Rosemary Riddick, Melvin Artis, Ruby Artis and Norman Artis; his siblings, Cleveland Robertson, Jr. and Joelynn C. Edmonds (Ronnie Sr.); his sisters-in-law, Helen Robertson, Michelle Robertson, Mildred Cooper, Ellen and Freda Robertson; his cousins, William Jones, Larry Wiggins, Willie Wiggins and Evelyn Wiggins; and his close friend Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
