We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2025, at the age of 89, Samuel Norfleet Perry Jr. (Suffolk, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Norfleet Perry Sr. and Garland Jones Perry; his siblings, Seth Perry (Lumpy) and Jenny Smith; and his aunt Wagner Jones.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon (Jim Fuller), Susan (Glenn Adams) and Ann (Scott Fuller); his grandchildren, Samantha (Adam Stallings) and Walker Fuller of Virginia Beach; his great grandchildren, Dylan and Hallie Stallings of Belvidere, NC.; his sister Suzy (Joe Chandler); the mother of his children Julia Perry of Windsor; and his close friend Cindy Taylor of Suffolk.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holly Lawn Cemetery (1525 N Main St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant a tree in his memory or make a donation to a charity of your choice.
