He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Arthur and Nina Onley Butt; and his sisters, Dorothy O'Neal, Jean Lane and Norma Butt.
He is survived by: his wife Mabel Ruth Wilson Butt; his children, Reneé DuBois of Suffolk and Ronnie Butt (Stacy) of Brownstown, MI.; his sisters, Faye Eure of Hertford and Doris Carpenter of Washington, DC; his grandchildren, Christine Price (Gregory) and Zachary DuBois; and his great grandchild Colby Price. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
