He is survived by : his wife Martha Jane Smith of Suffolk, VA; his daughters, Shana Lynn (CA) and Celia Lorraine (Brian A. Giovannone); and his grandchildren, Adam T. Sandin, Tova G. Hargest, Brittany C. Seagraves and Chelsea R. Seagraves. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (560 E Broad St, West Point, MS 39773). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 3:45 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
