She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Woodyard and Naureen Woodyard; her husband J. C. Matthews, Jr.; and her brothers, Dwight and Ronnie Woodyard.
She is survived by: her children, Pam O'Brien (Dave), Wendy Gillie, Jodie Matthews, III (Carley) and Phillip Lacy Matthews; and her siblings, Sandra Ferrell, Doug Woodyard (Kathy) and Michael Woodyard (Wanda). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Christian Berea Church.
