He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Howell Knight and Paul John Fowler, Sr.; and his sister Elizabeth Davis Skelton. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Massengill Fowler; his sons, Paul J. Fowler III (Michele) and Kevin H. Fowler (Virginia); his granddaughters, Ann K. and Mary P. Fowler; and his brother Stan Knight (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
