He is survived by: his wife Anna Kindred; his daughter Teresa Baker; his granddaughter Laquita Baker; his great grandchild Shamyra Lewis; his godchildren, Erica Ricks, Zenaida Porter and Walter Brook Jr.; his siblings, Bishop John H. Kindred (Bettie), Earl T. Kindred (Mamie) of Suffolk, VA., Ernestine K. Ricks (Edward) of Suffolk, VA and Ruth Diane Kindred of Providence, RI.; and his childhood buddy Deacon Johnny Morris (Morris Duck Sr.). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and his shipyard friends.
