Mary Lou Hudgins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Lou Hudgins of Suffolk, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents-in-law, Rupert and Elizabeth Hudgins; and her sister Betty Campbell. She is survived by: her husband Ray Hudgins; her daughters, Marylynn Harvey (Dickie) and Karen Raye Hall (Claude); her grandchildren, Elysia Huber (Ben), Bonnie Gibson (Ryan) and Phillip Hall (Lily); and her great grandchild Liam Gibson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Loving Funeral Home Churchland Chapel (3225 Academy Ave, Portsmouth, VA 23703). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Olive Branch Cemetery Clifford St. & City Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Sweethaven Baptist Church, building fund or The American Cancer Society.
