Mary C. Matthews Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary C. Matthews of Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on August 16, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Brinkley and Iva Brinkley; her parents-in-law, Ella Sue and Talmadge "Catfish" Matthews; her sister-in-law Paige Harrell; her pets, Ginger, Sophia, Tippy, Muff, Latecia and Evelyn; and her close friend Misty.
She is survived by: her significant other Ronald Matthews; her children, Rhonda King (Bob Crofton) and Ronald Jason Matthews (Kate); her grandchildren, Abby and Henry; her sister Debbie Brinkley; her sister-in-law Helen Slater; and her pet Kitten Ann.
