She was predeceased by: her husband Michael E. Phillips; her parents, Magdalene Hall Booker and Willie F. Bridger; and her grandson Chandler Blake Ferguson. She is survived by: her former husband Chuck Tanner; her sister Lillian Scott; her grandchildren, Stephen Grey Ferguson, Madison Tanner and Sydney Frink; and her close friend Barbara Knight.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lois' favorite charity, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
