With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Griggs Adams (Suffolk, Virginia), who passed away on March 29, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Willard and Martha McClenney Griggs; her husband Jerry Adams, Sr.; her son Jerry Adams, Jr.; her granddaughter Amber Rice; and her siblings, Richard, Aubrey, Harvey, Jack Griggs, Versenia and Bee.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Adams Harrington (David); her grandchildren, Jenna Brooks, Chase Brooks, Tyler Harrington and Jaime Allen (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Carter Rice, Wesley Rice, Mia Powell and Ellie L. Allen; and her siblings, Anita Joyce, Martha Whitley and Roland Griggs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Radiant Life Ministries Youth Program.
