He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Baker and Doris Baker; his son Jason Wade Baker; and his nephew James P. Holland. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette; his daughter Jodie Baker Brinkley; his grandchildren, Noah Walton Brinkley and Kadie Olivia Brinkley; his sister Nancy Holland (Phil); his nephew David Holland (Michelle); his great-niece Emma; his sister-in-law Martha Wheeler (Sammy); his niece Kelly Ellis (Todd); and his great-nephews, Grant and Graham Ellis.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parr Funeral Home & Crematory (3515 Robs Dr, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Liberty Spring Christian Church Cemetery (4213 Whaleyville Blvd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
