He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry G., Sr. and Mattie Lee Owens Wilson; his wife Alline Bridger Wilson; and his sister Bertie Lee Matthews. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Ray Wilson (Kathy) of Clayton, NC and Amanda W. Thornley (Jeff) of South Mills, NC; his brother Jimmy R. Wilson (Shirley) of Suffolk; his stepchildren, Jay Byrd (Rose) of Suffolk, Deena Cordero (Tony) of Suffolk and Karen Ward (Ryan) of Corapeake; and his pet Bullet.
