With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harrell Griffin Jory of Suffolk, Virginia, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on March 31, 2024 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harrell Griffin Jory to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine G. Jory and John M Jory Sr.; and his siblings, John, Gordon Jory and Annie Jo Rees.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Turner Jory; his daughter Kelly Jory Griffin (Brian); his grandchildren, Ethan and Carly Griffin; and his sister Nancy Schreyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
