It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick M. Whitmore (Suffolk, Virginia), who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara D. Whitmore; his parents, Joseph Whitmore and Helen Whitmore; and his siblings, Melba Collette, Joann Eley (Sissy), Wesley Whitmore (Buck) and Charles Whitmore.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott M. Whitmore (Teresa) of Carrollton, VA. and Barry K. Whitmore (Tina) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Wesley (Kristen), Dylan (Courtney), Blake and Tyson; his great grandchildren, Brianna, Scarlett, Ava and Josie; and his brother Robert "Poopie" Whitmore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
