She is survived by: her husband Roosevelt Haskins; her siblings, Wilia Philylaw, Lavinia Baker, Mildred Robinson, Willie Thomas Jr., James L. Baker and Isiah Baker; her adoptive son Steve Haskins; her nieces, Suzanne Hilliard, Laverne Arline, Carol Evaldi, Mary Esther Warren (Robert Warren), Mildred Knight (Lewis Knight), Anita Baker, Dollie Ricks (Bishop Clarence Ricks) and Victoria Baker; her nephew James Arline Jr.; and her adoptive daughters, Carol Sparrow and Vonita Haskins. She is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the T. E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home (405 Johnson Ave, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Carver Memorial Cemetery (2320 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
