Emily McLawhorn Brooks Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2024, at the age of 85, Emily McLawhorn Brooks of Suffolk, Virginia, born in Ayden, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Lee McLawhorn and Helen Townsend McLawhorn. She is survived by: her husband Donald Lee Brooks; her children, Jeffrey Scott Brooks, Kevin Foster Brooks and Donna Brooks Clark; and her siblings-in-law, William H Rhue and Emily Brooks Eubanks. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
