Though Elsie Mae Baines may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elsie Mae Baines touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward L. Baines and Minnie Baines Robertson; and her husband J. Marvin Brinkley. She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Brinkley Savage; her granddaughter Kelly Savage Knight (Matthew Knight); and her caregiver Liz.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Lawn Cemetery (1525 N Main St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
